Aftercare

Staiano Plastic Surgery is proud to offer the Complete Aftercare Package in partnership with the Hospitals where you procedure will be carried out. It covers the treatment of any complications that may arise in the first 30 days following surgery.

This means that you can be assured that you are fully covered in the unlikely event that you require any further surgery or require a prolonged hospital stay.

The hospitals also cover you for revision surgery that may be required for up to 6 months following your procedure and gives you complete peace of mind that you will get the best result possible with no hidden costs. Terms and Conditions are available on request.

All of the aftercare at Staiano Plastic Surgery is surgeon-led and we do not use salespeople or nurse advisers. We do not have a limit on the number of consultations that you can have before surgery.

We want to ensure that you are completely happy with your decision and so you can come back to the clinic to go over things again and again until you feel totally comfortable with your decision. Furthermore, all of our patients are given the email address and phone number of the clinic so you can call, text or email if you have any questions or concerns at any stage of your treatment.

For many years, Jonathan would tell his patients to bring a sports bra with them to wear postoperatively. Patients were frequently asking for guidance on the size and type of bra to buy (see my blog post). This does not really fit with the ethos of the clinic, which is to provide the best experience possible to all of our patients. Jonathan has spent a long time looking and different types of postoperative and sports bra.

He has been using Plié and Macom bras for several years now and has not found a better bra. We provide all of our patients with a postoperative bra, which we will have measured and sized for you so you can rest assured that it will be the correct fit.

We realise that plastic surgery can be life-changing and you may find it hard to make these decisions. Everyone needs somebody to talk to. What if your close friends or family don’t understand? Will you feel judged by them? We offer two sessions, usually taken one preoperatively and one postoperatively, of individual patient support. We have both male and female counsellors and sessions can be undertaken in person, by Skype or on the telephone. Be assured that all information is kept private and confidential and the reason for the support it to help you to make the right decision.

This refers to breast augmentation patients. Breast augmentation can usually be performed as a day case procedure, however there is an overnight stay included in our complete aftercare package. This gives you the peace of mind that your private en suite room will be reserved for you for the night, whether or not you choose to stay.

This refers to breast augmentation patients. Polyurethane foam implants have a special coating that reduces the risk of them going hard in the future and so makes them longer lasting. We are one of the few clinics to offer this type of implant. Read more about polyurethane foam implants here.
